New Delhi: In a dramatic twist to actor Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal’s custody case, their father, Tahir Hussain, told a Bandra court on Saturday that he is unable to take care of Faisal as he is a producer. Saturday Dec 15 8:25 PM
Hussain urged that custody should be given to Aamir instead. The metropolitan magistrate court in Mumbai had on October 1 awarded Faisal's custody to Hussain, overruling Aamir's claims.
The custody battle began after Faisal alleged that Aamir had made him a prisoner in his house and was forcing him to take medicines for paranoid schizophrenia, although he was perfectly normal.
Faisal, meanwhile, has said that he is not banking on anyone to take care of him and is responsible enough to take care of himself.
“I am an individual and capable of looking after myself. I am responsible enough, so I think I should be given complete freedom to live my life. Dad is in a financial difficulty and financial stress. Aamir Khan has managed to break him because of his financial position. Dad wanted to make a film with me and he wanted to direct it, for which I opposed because he is not an up to mark director. I feel let down because of my family member,” says Faisal.
