Washington, Dec 16 (ANI): X Factor boss Simon Cowell could be preparing to fire Sharon Osbourne from the reality show.

Osbourne had scornfully attacked Dannii Minogue, insisting that the Australian singer had landed the job on the reality show just because of her good looks.

Cowell was furious with the rock matriarch's remarks, which she had made on British TV on Thursday (13Dec07).

He said that he would sit down with Sharon and have a talk with her.

"I will sit down with Sharon after the final and discuss things then. We have got three acts who have the biggest night of their lives ahead of them, that is all I am worried about right now," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"Simon thought what Sharon did on the show was disgusting. He only offered her a new contract last week and then she goes and does this," a source is reported to have told British newspaper the Daily Mirror.

Sharon had also claimed that X Factor boss Simon Cowell is smitten by Dannii.

"She's younger and better looking. Simon wants her and he doesn't want me - thank God," she is reported to have told the Sun. (ANI)
