Shaam has made a transition from playing just romantic roles. He has a rugged look in his upcoming film Inba. And in Anthony Yaar, he plays a fisherman.
Shaam visited fishing comunities in Uvari, Nagarkoil and Kovalam and studied the fisherfolk to prepare for the role. He feels that this is one of his toughest roles till date.
The story of Anthony Yaar revolves around an orphan with divine powers. The film is directed by Pandi and has Mallika Kapoor as the female lead.
Music for the film is composed by Dhina and Santonio is the cinematographer.
