Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan have finally decided to bury the hatchet. The duo is all set to be seen together in Sohail Khan Productions'Mr & Mrs Khanna'. The film marks the debut of Prem Soni as director and he is believed to be responsible for bringing Salman and Kareena together.

It is believed that Soni played the mediator and convinced Salman and Kareena to do his film. Kareena will now play the role of Mrs Khanna. Priyadarshan's Kyon Ki.. was the last film that Salman and Kareena did together. They were not on talking terms for a long time. The situation got awkward between them after the Rockstar Concert that happened in 2006. Shahid Kapur, who was Kareena's boyfriend then, was part of a concert along with Salman. During the concert, Shahid treid to teach Salman a few dance lessons. Salman, who is otherwise known for being a very amiable person, did not take this too well as he expected Shahid to respect for his seniority. After that incident, Salman and Shahid had serious differences. The incident out Kareena in a tricky situation as Salman was a good friend of Kareena and Karisma. Since Kareena was madly in love in Shahid with then so she chose to side with him. Salman had committeed to do a song for the Kareena-Shahid starrer Milenge Milenge but opted out after this incident. To make matters worse, Salman was reported to be very upset when his girlfriend Katrina Kaif signed Rajkumar Santoshi's film opposite Shahid.
