Unlike certain sections of the media, who are trying to portray LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG, as an Abhishek Bachchan starrer, it is clear that the actor is there only for an extended cameo. In fact, he has a screen time of only about 25-27 minutes, which includes two songs. The role though was extremely essential to the plot of the hard-hitting movie.But we are not here to tell you the obvious. The hot 'n' happening Bachchan Junior has finally decided to make public the reason for being a part of the loss making Yash Raj project. He says that even though he was not convinced about the commercial viability of the movie, he agreed to be a part of the project at the request of his good friend Aditya Chopra.
Well, we don't blame Aditya for trying to add Abhishek's star value to the woman-centric movie. And the normally diplomatic Abhishek Bachchan needs to be commended for his forthright views.
