Mumbai: Guess what common between Lord Hanuman and cricket. It is cricketer Sreeshanth - a part of the cheering team for Anurag Kashyap's directorial venture Return of Hanuman - whose child-like antics on the cricket field make him a favourite with youngsters and who is a Hanuman follower in real life.Wednesday Dec 19 3:55 AM
"I like Hanuman. He is a superhero, and I come from a background where Lord Hanuman is revered. I have seen the first film too, Hanuman and I just cannot wait to see Return of Hanuman - especially the cricket match part in the movie," says Sreesanth.
Out of action due to a shoulder injury Sreesanth did not get to show his trademark jig this time around in the cricket field, but still managed to get all the attention from the little ones who had come to take the Hanuman merchandise home.
"It's always fun to spend time with children. I have nephews back home and I always like to take out time for them from my hectic schedule," says he.
