Soundarya and team are busy putting together the animation movie Sultan whose hero is the animated avatar of her Superstar father. Work is on in full swing and since they are using a technique called motion capture, which involves making Rajinikanth act out the scenes, shooting it and then adapting the animation sequence accordingly, the whole process is quite tedious. But Soundarya is only too excited at the prospect of playing director! Sultan, the Warrior, will be the first animation movie featuring an Indian cine star. Besides this, the movie has many other big names involved in its making, including music by A.R. Rahman and a stunt master imported from Hollywood. An important aspect of Sultan is that the story was in fact penned by Rajinikanth himself! In an interview, Soundarya mentioned that she hopes her father will gain fame in Hollywood as well through her animation flick. It is said that Soundarya intends to release her pet project on her father’s next birthday! It will indeed be a proud yet touching moment for father and daughter!
