It's been at least a couple of years since we have been hearing about Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh and his mega launch. However, his much awaited debut is yet to see the light of day.

In fact, Mimoh is believed to have said in an interview that Jimmy, directed by Raj Sippy will be his first release. Meanwhile, Sunil Shetty's production house, Popcorn Entertainment, has signed him for a crime comedy titled Loot, and suddenly that became his big break. However, the latest is that producer Salim Akhtar has resolved to release his film The Murderer on Januaray 25. It will be Mimoh's first release and he is not very happy about it. In fact, Mimoh is believed to have refused to promote the film. But the producer insists that he will go ahead with the release irrespective of anything. He did say that he would have a word with Mimoh once he is back from his shoot in Goa. Akhtar refutes rumours that his film is incomplete, saying that even the post production is over. He said that Mimoh will be making his debut with his film and there is no question of anyone else launching him.
