After facing the camera as an actor, Australian cricketer Brett Lee is all out to sing once again for Victory, the Hindi film that he recently agreed to be part of. Giving him company will be Amrita Rao.
Brett is apparently very excited about singing a song for a Bollywood film. This is the first time that he is planning to try his hand at singing for a film. In fact, the cricketer has been making sincere efforts to perfect his singing before actually recording for the film. Lee has already recorded an album with Asha Bhonsale earlier and was very keen to be part of the Hindi film industry. According to sources, Amrita too will lend her voice for the song. It is supposed to be a fun-filled rap song that has both English and Hindi lyrics. Amrita, who is currently shooting for the film in Rajasthan, plans to take a few lessons in singing as well. Singing in Hindi will not be very difficult for Brett as he is quite familiar with the language after singing with Asha Bhonsale in "Asha and Friends.' Victory's music director Anu Malik said that talks are on to have Brett Lee and Amrita Rao sing for the film but nothing has been finalized as yet. The film's director, Ajit Pal, has cast real-life cricketers from all over the world for this film. Haraman Baweja and Amrita are in the lead roles.
