Mumbai: He has gone all out to promote his film, right from appearing on reality TV shows to doing back-to-back interviews within a span of few hours.

And just after his film Taare Zameen Par opened to packed houses, Aamir Khan spent a day interacting with his fans. From special contest to special screening, it was a busy day for the star.

Evidently excited by the overwhelming response to his film, Aamir had every reason to smile. “The response have been really overwhelming , i believe, there have been standing ovations in theatres, all posts I have been getting , the response has been heart warming and the entire team is thrilled,” he said.

On the same day, Aamir attended a special screening of his film organised for the Dyslexic Association of Maharastra with his star discovery Darsheel Safary, for whom Aamir had nothing but the nicest things to say.

”His eyes, I feel speak volumes, he's able to express what his character feels through his eyes. He's immensely talented which we should discuss behind his back,” the actor said.

He may have spent long hours on the whirlwind promotional tour, but evident enough, his impeccable sense of humour stayed firmly in place.
