Anjathe, director Mishkin’s latest venture, has Narain and Vijayalakshmi of Chennai-28 fame playing the lead roles.

The promos of this movie are being aired across all TV channels and have managed to create enough buzz around it. The audio of Anjathe was also launched with much fanfare and is slowly rising up the charts.

Expectations are on the rise for this film, which happens to be Mishkin’s next venture after his successful debut film Chithiram Pesuthadi.

The shooting for Anjathe is in its final stages and yesterday (26-12-2007) the climax sequence of the film was shot in the cornfields of Thenkasi district. While shooting this scene, which was a chase sequence involving Vijayalakshmi and the villains, the actress has supposedly bruised her hands and was bleeding profusely. The crew, however, realized this only after canning the shot. The actress was immediately rushed to a private hospital nearby and is said to be recuperating well. Vijayalakshmi said she would resume shooting in a week’s time.
