London, Dec 31 (IANS) Pop superstar Madonna, who adopted son David Banda from Malawi, is now considering adopting a girl child from Cambodia.
The 49-year-old singer and her British husband Guy Ritchie have sent aides to look for a child in Cambodia, the sun.co.uk reports. Madonna chose Cambodia after she was impressed with Angelina Jolie's adopting her son Maddox from the country.
A friend of Madonna speaking about her choice of Cambodia said: 'Malawi is bound up in red tape and she hopes that Cambodia will be easier.'
She was also frustrated by the bureaucracy involved with the adoption process in Malawi. David's adoption is still in the process of being formalised.
Madonna got inspired to adopt another child after a social worker praised her for being a good mom to her son David.
