Actors Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar are all set to appear opposite the Om Shanti Om girl, Deepika Padukone in Ashtavinayak's next film, titled Blue.

The film, which will have a lot of action sequences, will be directed by a newcomer called Tony. The casting is not yet complete for the film. The makers are still looking to sign on one more actor and another actress. They are also looking to sign on a newcomer as the third hero for their film. The official announcements about the film will be made shortly. Earlier, this year, the production house had sent Akshay Kumar to Thailand for a training course in deep-sea diving as Akshay had made it clear that he would not like to use a body double for the underwater sequences. Incidentally, this will be the first time that Sanjay and Akshay will be working in a movie together. However, this is the first film that Akshay and Deepika will be doing together. Prior to this, the two of them have been signed on by Nikhil Advani for Chandni Chowk To China, where Akshay plays a lowly Mumbai cook.
