He made his debut as a young hero romancing another newcomer and a few films later he became known for his college boy looks.

Not content at being typecast he forayed into the action genre and reaped success in it too. Prashanth is the actor who is now going in for an image makeover and is making a very bold move for that.

He has now dared to play anti hero in R.K.Selvamani’s next film. The two are presently working together in a sequel to the director’s earlier hit Pulan Visaranai, titled Pulan Visaranai – 2. This film which hit the floors last years was delayed and the actor blames his personal problems for the delay.

He however assures us that the film will release soon and that once it is out they will begin work on their next project in which he will play an anti-hero character. Guess experimenting is the best bet now to survive in Indian cinema.
