Washington, Jan 3 (ANI): Pop singer Ashlee Simpson has dismissed rumours that she is engaged to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.
Reports that the couple are engaged started circulating after Ashlee was spotted wearing a ring on her left finger while celebrating New Year at Miami's Shore Club with Wentz.
However, the singer's rep has shot down reports that the pair is getting hitched.
"Ashlee is not engaged" Usmagazine.com quoted the rep, as saying.
Wentz's publicist also confirmed that the couple are not engaged.
This is not the first time that the couple have been hounded with engagement rumours.
In July last year, Simpson's rep denied reports that the two were getting married. (ANI)
