The Vikram-Trisha starrer Bheemaa, which has been long in the making, is finally set for release. The film was screened for the members of Censor Board on New Year’s Day and has been passed with an 'A' certificate.
Justifying the 'A' certificate, board members said that it was awarded only because of some scenes that had violence which is integral to the film. The members were very much impressed with the slick presentation of the movie.
Bheemaa is directed by Lingusamy and produced by A.M. Ratnam’s Sri Surya Movies. The music by Harris Jayaraj, which was released long back, is still topping the charts.
The film was hampered by production delays and will be finally released on January 11.
