I will not stop my growing belief in woman power gradually taking over the world and I am glad and grateful to find more and more woman who is adding strength to my belief. I am thrilled to see woman taking and acting part in making the world a better place and giving me all the reason to live a little longer to see my dream of women taking over and man accepting the reality that women are capable and that they have the courage and the will to over come and conquer.

It is quite some kind now since I have been watching the rise of one more 'Heroine' in my story which is taking shapes the story of the woman as 'Shakti' (Power). I am talking about Kanika Bajpai. Kanika was a very talented and popular actress. She had started her career in theatre with dignified and celebrated directors like Dinesh Thakur and B.M.Shah. Her talent made other well known director take serious interest in her talent. Soon Kanika was playing prominent, purposeful and popular roles in serials made by big names like Chetan Anand, Shyam Benegal, Lekh Tondon, Atmaram (Younger brother of Guru Dutt), Basu Bhattacharya, M. S. Sathyu, Bansi caul, Gopal Dutt, Jalal Agha and others they were all makers who were difficult to impress but Kanika, her talent and dedication sand above all her passion to come up with her best made these great man think and talk very highly about her. She had carved a niche for herself both among those she worked with an audience which was addicted to her talent.

She then took a break and all those who believed in her talent believed that they had lost a very good talent. But little did they no that Kanika was indirectly continue her good work in her only. She married Mr. Trinetra Bajpai a very dynamic and highly successful computer engineer who had made a name for him self in different part of the world, a man who was a distant relative of Atal Bihari Bajpai. Mr. Bajpai was to Kanika's good fortune a man who was a very interested in Hindi film. He knew more about Hindi cinema than many of the so called historian and knows alls of Hindi Cinema. Kanika became his source of inspiration and gradually made him take greater interest in what was already a filed that fascinated him. And one day Mr. Bajpai took a vital decision in his life. He decided to shift base to Mumbai and started Kanika Multiscope Pvt. Ltd., a company which would make tele serial and graduate to make feature film and start its own company to provide facilities to other film makers. Mr. Bajpai had so much faith in the abilities of his wife that he made her the managing director of the company. And Kanika Bajpai with her husband as her source of inspiration is carrying out her responsibility with more than the abilities of man in the same position.

She is a woman behind to making of the company's first serial, 'Bikhri Aas Nikhri Preet' which has already been shot in Banaras and is now being shot in Mumbai. It is a fifty two episode serial, based on a novel written by Mr. Bajpai's mother called 'Vyavdhaan'. The Bajpais have planned to make to other serial, 'Bada Aadmi' and 'Kahte Jaye Banjara' before they can take off to make their feature films. They have a very strong belief in the veteran director, Lekh Tandon, the man who has always been firing the inspiration of Mr. Bajpai. As a result, the Bajpais will have Lekh Tandon as the director of all the serial and all the films they make.

And Kanika has not lost touch with her other real self, the formidable actress that she is. Kanika is playing a very important role in 'Bikhri Aas Nikhri Preet'. She is also a very good singer which is being proved by no less a music director than the great maestro, Khayyam who is recording a very important song of the serial in her voice. Mr. Bajpai and the Bajpais' daughter, Anshoula who lives in London and writes their scripts have nothing to worry as long as they have a woman with the power, the ability and the way to go about getting things done even in the face of storms when ever they even try to dare and threaten her designs and dreams for the future of the dream company founded by Mr. Bajpai and nursed by the able mind, heart and soul of a sensitive artist like Kanika who also knows and will know more about the big business of entertainment as it is run in these days of competition which only adds to the power of this woman in whom I see hope for a great future for women and whatever they do to stand as strong or even stronger than men.
