London, Jan 5 (ANI): Madonna showed her gratitude to an Indian Maharaja, by singing karaoke following a royal feast at his fort in the Indian desert state of Rajasthan.

The 49-year-old singer, along with her film director husband Guy Ritchie and kids Lourdes, ten, and Rocco, seven, spent the past few days at a 17th-century heritage resort called Rohet Garh, about 40 kilometres from the historic city of Jodhpur.

And the pop diva put on a spontaneous show to thank Maharaja Gaj Singhji II for his hospitality.

"It was great to be in royal company. Lourdes and Rocco were in awe of him - they kept hugging him. It was fabulous, we sang karaoke for him," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

The singer revealed that she and hubby Guy Ritchie took a family holiday to the Rajasthan desert to recover from the stress of their battle to adopt Malawian tot David Banda.

Sources say that Madonna enjoyed long horse rides, kite flying and dance lessons from local entertainers. (ANI)
