London, Jan 6 (IANS) Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty has been telling his friends that he can make it in the US despite the drug charges against him.
Doherty is reportedly in talks with some premier music publications and has got at least one magazine cover, reports thesun.co.uk.
A close friend said, 'Pete is sure he can crack the US. He has been saying that as they let The Beatles in, he should be fine.' But Doherty will have to consider all the drug charges against him and how that will affect his chances of ever being granted a visa.
