In their award nominations, popular movie entertainment magazine STARDUST has EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL in the category of HOTTEST FILM.Directed by debutant Sanjay Khanduri, this dark comedy starring Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia gained from immense critical acclaim and has been a best seller on the DVD circuits. Though poor promotion and haphazard marketing had resulted in a patchy release and post promotion of the film, EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL had managed to stay on with the audience due to positive word of mouth.
The film would be competing with the likes of HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD., GANDHI MY FATHER, BHEJA FRY, LOINS OF PUNJAB PRESENTS and MANORAMA SIX FEET UNDER in its battle for supremacy as the hottest film.
