Television Czarina Ekta Kapoor is all set to face the camera for her first ever attempt at acting. And the brainchild behind this is brother Tushar. But Ekta just seems to be following a trend which has been set by Himesh Reshammiya, who started out as composer, then took to singing, and is now an actor as well. Even director Farhan Akhtar is currently facing the camera for the film Rock.

Ekta will be playing herself it seems in her home production. The film is supposed to be a satire on the underworld featuring Anupam Kher, Rajpal Yadav and Tusshar. Mithun Chakraborty plays the underworld don. Ekta found it difficult to say no to her brother and ended up agreeing to play herself in the film. Earlier, Tusshar had persuaded his father, Jeetendra to come out of retirement and play his reel father in Kucch To Hai and now he seems to have done it with his sister. But it is believed that Ekta was a tougher nut to crack. Incidentally, all of Ekta's scenes are with Mithun and she is quite nervous about it.
