2007 was a year when Neha Dhupia was seen on the big screen every two months.Kick starting the year with an item number in NEHLLE PE DEHLLA, Neha was seen in films like DELHII HEIGHTS, EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL, SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA, DUS KAHANIYAAN and a special appearance in HEYY BABYY.
2008 too would be a pretty engaging year for Neha once she kick starts her campaign with RAMA RAMA KYA HAI DRAMAAA. Earlier scheduled for a release on 2007 end, the film would now be arriving at theaters on 18th January.
This would be followed by MITHYA which is all set for 8th February release. This Rajat Kapoor directed film is said to be his most ambitious venture ever and also stars Naseruddin Shah, Ranvir Shorey, Harsh Chhaya, Saurabh Shukla and Vinay Pathak.
CHALA MURARI MURDER KARNE, earlier titled MAHARATHI, is expected to be her next release after MITHYA. A Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. film, CHALA MURARI MURDER KARNE is directed by Shivam Nair who had debuted two years back as a director in AHISTA AHISTA. The film boasts of a heavy weight star cast comprising of Naseruddin Shah, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal and Boman Irani.
Her kitty would only continue to grow with 15th August all set to bring the biggest release of her career - SINGH IS KINNG. Fresh from the success of WELCOME, Anees Bazmee is currently busy filming this entertainer which stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Javed Jaffrey, Ranvir Shorey and Om Puri along with Neha!
During the course of the year, Neha would also be seen enacting the sole female lead role in Saurabh Shukla directed I AM 24. An Arindam Chaudhri production, the film stars Neha along with Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Lilette Dubey, Delnaz Paul and Manjari Phadnis.
2008 is indeed turning out to be quite an year for Neha!
