Silambarasan’s Kaalai, due for Pongal 2008 release, is certified by the Censor Board in Chennai under ‘A’ category.
This action adventure, directed by Tharun Gopi, faced the scissors today and has had only three cuts altogether, sources reveal. Insiders also state that the censor officials were impressed with the movie that they only deemed three scenes to be inappropriate, and advised them to be cut.
Kaalai’s music has already hit the charts and is creating waves with G.V. Prakash’s score. Vedhika plays the lead in Kaalai that also has Nila, Sangeetha, Lal, and Vadivelu playing significant roles.
Left to be satisfied with Silambarasan’s cameo on TV in 2007, his fans are gearing up for (Jallikattu) Kaalai’s release.
