We have been bringing you regular updates about the next Siddharth Anand project, right from its unofficial announcement, to its long list of glamorous faces. We also told you about its inspiration from the Hollywood film, CHASING PAPPY.Incidentally, this will be Siddharth Anand's hattrick for the Yash Raj Films, following the successful SALAAM NAMASTE (Saif and Preity) and the above average TA RA RUM PUM (Saif and Rani). The film stars the best male debutante of 2007, Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen serenading the likes of the hot and sultry Bipasha Basu, the best female debutante of the same year, Deepika Padukone, and the most successful actress of last year, the picture perfect Katrina Kaif.
Katrina who is undoubtedly a strong contender for the number one spot with superhits like PARNER and WELCOME and hits like APNE and NAMASTEY LONDON, is very excited about her role in the movie. When asked about her character in the star studded movie, Katrina says that even though its a 20 minute appearance, it is something that is entirely different from what she has done till now. She further elaborates that she will be breaking the mould with it and is sure that her role will be noticed and appreciated.
