The release of Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan, Vadivelu’s second film as hero, has been postponed to this month end. The producers had earlier intended to release the film for Pongal.
Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan has Vadivelu playing three roles: Lord Indira, Yama and common man Azhagappan. Shriya, Tamil cinema’s latest sensation, appears in a sizzling item number.
Indiralogathil… is produced by Seventh Channel Manickam Narayanan and directed by Thambi Ramiah. Sabesh-Murali are in charge of the music; Gopinath handles cinematography. Thotta Tharani’s sets for the film, especially that of Yamaloga is being much discussed and praised in the industry.
The decision to postpone the release was taken by the producer to avoid getting cluttered along with the other Pongal releases which include biggies like Vikram’s Bheemaa and Simbu’s Kaalai. Also, lack of good screens seems to be a factor behind this decision. The film is likely to release on January 25.
