New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has flown to London with family and girlfriend Katrina in tow for the unveiling of his statue at the famous wax museum, Madame Tussaud's.

Salman who had earlier refused to be a part of the iconic collection at Tussauds later agreed and will now be standing next to a host of Bollywood celebs, including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan. The statue will be unveiled on Tuesday in London.

With Bollywood’s latest entry at the wax museum one wonders whether there might soon be a Bollywood corner or even a whole floor for stars from the Hindi film industry at Madame Tussauds.

Officials from the famed museum were in Mumbai to record Salman's vital statistics, his hair details, his eye colour and all necessary measurements that will be needed to recreate his waxwork.

Salman was picked over a bunch of other stars including Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Kajol. The honour is meant to be a reflection of Salman's popularity among fans in the West.
