In an incident which took place at Filmistan yesterday, actor and MP, Govinda, went ahead and slapped a fan, who was trying to push a chair between Govinda's legs. According to the actor, the miscreant was misbehaving with the female dancers on the sets.
Govinda justified his action of slapping the fan, saying that the guy was trying to get too close to the girls. He said that he felt he had to protect them and so slapped the man. The actor was shooting for producer Kumar Mangat's Money Hai To Honey Hai. Mangat also confirmed that the offender was first mistaken to be junior artiste or a member of the unit. But when it was discovered that he was an outsider, he was asked to stand at a distance and watch the shooting. But the man didn't listen started getting too close to Govinda and the actresses, Celina Jaitley and Hansika Motwani. Of course, Govinda left no stone unturned in giving the incident a political touch by saying that the miscreant was probably sent from an opposition political party to harass him.
