Looks like actress Simran is back in Tamil cinema with a bang. Industry sources say that the actress has agreed to play the female role in Rajinikanth’s forthcoming Kuselan.
The actress was the original choice for the title role in Rajinikanth’s Chandramukhi. But she had to opt out of the project because of her pregnancy.
However, the actress will be not be paired with the superstar in Kuselan. She will play the wife of Pasupathi, who dons the title role.
Kuselan is a story about the wonderful friendship between a poor barber and a superstar. A remake of the Malayalam film Katha Parayumbol, it is being directed by P. Vasu, who also directed Chandramukhi and is produced by K. Balachander’s Kavithalaya Productions.
