Priyanshu Chatterjee was noticed and appreciated in his first film Tum Bin, directed by Anubhav Sinha. He did have a couple of releases after that, like Dil K Rishta, Koi Mere Dil Main Hai, Madhoshi and Julie. But somehow, Priyanshu's performance went unnoticed in them.
But now the actor is all set to make a comeback of sorts. Priyanshu will soon be seen in Bhootnath, where he plays Amitabh Bachchan's son. The actor has also just signed a three-film deal with Bobby Bedi's production company Kaleidoscope. The first film, Haddbahedi…. Yahan Sab Theek Hai, has been directed by Ranjeet Kapoor and also stars Rishi Kapoor and Kulraj Randhawa among others. This film will probably release in March-April this year. The other two projects are still to be decided. The actor also worked in a Bengali film last year, Bidhatar Lekha, produced by Rani Mukherjee. The actor recalls that it was phenomenal working with the Big B in Bhootnath. The film, he says, is a family drama and a total entertainer. As for Bobby Bedi's film, it is a situational comedy. One hopes that Priyanshu's second coming proves to be more enduring than his first.
