After two years in the making, Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Dasavatharam is all set to release. ‘Oscar’ Ravichandran, the film’s producer, has confirmed that April 10 will be the date of release of the most-awaited movie of the year. The producer selecting April 10 seems to be well-thought out, as the film will enjoy a solo worldwide release while many other films will be releasing only on Tamil New Year. Ravichandran, known for his excellent marketing skills, is sure the film will be a grand success and plans to release the film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The film is touted to equal the hype created by Sivaji by the time of its release. Dasavatharam stars Kamal Haasan in 10 roles along with Asin, Bollywood glam queen Mallika Sherawat and is directed by K.S. Ravikumar, who has given superhits like Avvai Shanmugi and Tenali. Music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya; the background score is said to be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The post-production work for the film is being carried out at a feverish place along with the CG work. The audio of the film is expected to be released by the last week of February.
