Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's next film ROCK ON has gone on floors on 7th January 2008.The entire schedule is being filmed in Mumbai.The film revolves around 4 young boys who put together the greatest band this country had ever seen but never make it. Ten years hence fate conspires to bring them together again and set them on a journey back to where they left off. A soul searching pilgrimage into their past.
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment the film is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor. ROCK ON also star's Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, Sahana Goswami and Luke Kenny.
Other credits include music by Shankar, Eshaan and Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and cinematography by Jason West.
The film is schedule to release in the 3rd quarter of 2008.
