A curvaceous Priyanka Chopra was asked to loose 8 kgs for Madhur Bhandrakra's Fashion. The actress has so far managed to lose only 4 kgs, but that it seems is not good enough.

It is a battle that women from the fashion world are constantly fighting. And Priyanka Chopra is just learning that no matter how perfect one looks, there is always room for improvement in the fashion world. While the whole world is battling against the pressures that fashion models face to always be a size zero, director Bhandarkar has asked Priyanka to lose weight for her role in Fashion. Priyanka's co-stars in the film are the wafer-thin Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse. According to sources, Priyanka weighed 54 kgs when she signed the film. Ideally, Madhur wanted her to lose some eight kgs by the time she started shooting but the actress has just managed to do lose half of that. Madhur is quite determined that Priyanka lose the additional 4 kgs fast as she is supposed to shoot some very crucial scenes on the ramp, for which she has to look anorexic. Also since both Kangana and Mugdha are very thin, Priyanka will look very odd if she is in the same frame with them. Sources close to the actress says that she is working out and dieting and has already lost 4 kgs in six weeks. But as her stylist Rita Dhody says, that all models cannot be anorexic. She adds that Priyanka has a different bone structure and a very well-defined feminine body. She is not stick thin. But unfortunately, in the fashion industry, you can never be thin enough.
