Yes. You read it right. The Aruvadai team has approached the Big B himself to star in their film. Aruvadai stars Mammooty, Arjun and Sneha in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Aravindhan who has earlier directed Aravindhan and Agaram. The film is about the plight of the farmers in our society. Mammooty appears as an intelligence offer in this film while Arjun plays a DIG. Sneha appears in the role of a pilot in this film. The film has a Prime Minister character which will reflect the kind of leader the people dream of and is daring, foresighted, selfless, brilliant and talented. This is the character for which the unit have approached Amitabh Bachchan. The film’s producer Henry has met Amitabh and given the script in English to the actor. The Big B has told the producer that he’ll inform his decision after going through the script. Henry is confident that Amitabh will accept the role once he reads the script. Amitabh had earlier acted in a Kannada film a couple of years back. It was even reported that the Bollywood superstar would act with Rajinikanth in Sivaji. However, that turned out to false. Let’s hope producer Henry is successful in bringing Amitabh to Tamil.
