Kaalai, the Silambarasan-Vedhika starrer which was released this Pongal seems to have undergone a few changes in terms of the order of some sequences.
This has been done following a general remark that the story line was a bit ambiguous and difficult to follow.
When director Tarun Gopi was approached to clarify this, he said, “Yes, we have interchanged the sequences post interval to appear before and vice versa. As a result scenes pertaining to Seema and Sangeetha are now shown before the intermission and Silambarasan’s revenge has been shown after the interval.”
Answering to a query on an aunt and nephew’s relationship in Kaalai which has come under a scanner, Tarun states that his hero has been constantly hounded by women. So to escape from them, he mentions that he is in search of a girl just like his aunt. Director explains that there is no other hidden meaning to this.
