In Kabul Express, his first film, he worked with a pair of male stars, John Abraham and Arshad Warsi. And now director Kabir Khan is all set to shoot with another pair of male actors for his next venture with Yash Raj Films.
According to sources, Khan;s next film, which he calls a "contemporary film with relevance', is likely to feature John Abraham again, along with nerwcomer Neil Nitin Mukesh. For Neil, this film will be like a homecoming of sorts. He had earlier made an appearance as a child artiste in Yash Chopra's Vijay (1988) and Jaise Karni Waisi Bharni (1989). He has also assisted Aditya Chopra and Kunal Kohli. The Johnny Gaddar refused to divulge too many details as he felt it was too premature to talk now, but he is apparently keeping his fingers crossed. John is quite relieved that all past differences with Aditya Chopra have been resolved. It seems that Aditya had offered John a role in Jhoom Barabar. But John is believed to have had too many queries about the script which annoyed Aditya. Also John kept dilly-dallying about meeting Aditya, who called him several times. The result was that an infuriated Aditya signed Bobby Deol for the film. It is believed that it was Kabir who was very keen on casting John and he facilitated the meeting between the two. Aditya was apprehensive about meeting John initially due to is past experiences. But all seems to have gone well as John has been signed for a two-film deal by Aditya. He will do but another film for the Chopras besides Kabir's film.
