Aditya Chopra is all set to return to direction after an eight-year hiatus. The male lead will naturally be played by his friend and superstar Shah Rukh Khan. But the director is on the lookout for a fair, pretty, young girl with an athletic body to play the leading lady opposite SRK.
Aditya is all set to launch a nationwide mega talent hunt for a traditional Indian beauty for his film, titled Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. As the title suggests, the film is a romantic story and the meticulous director is looking for a traditional Indian beauty to suit the part. Along with good looks and a fresh face, the leading lady should have an athletic body and the age limit has been set between 20 and 24. The production team of the film will hold auditions in various cities in the coming weeks. Aditya is very keen on casting a new face this time, so sorry Rani Mukherjee and Kajol. According to reports, Aditya was in talks with SRK ever since Chak De India hit the box office. But the actor signed the film only recently as he was preoccupied with Om Shanti Om and was also planning his schedule for Karan Johar's next, My Name is Khan. But Karan's film has been pushed to September and SRK can now start filming for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi this May. The plot supposedly revolves around a hilarious couple and their exploits. If sources are to be believed, then Hrithik Roshan is being considered for a supporting role.
