It’s been quite a while since our Kollywood story tellers spun a yarn on rebirth. However, to prove that it’s not been forgotten, we have a movie in the offing based on rebirth.
In the direction of R.K. Vidhyadharan, Annamalai Films Pvt. Ltd. is making the movie Vaitheeswaran. This movie, with Sarathkumar and Meghna Naidu in its lead, neither says that there is such a thing as rebirth no denies the possibility of its existence. That is left to the audience to decide.
Sarath plays the role of a scientist doing research in the concept of rebirth while Meghna plays the part of a journalist. Vidhyadharan promises that the movie will not have the usual clichéd storyline that movies based on rebirth tend to revolve around. So will it be something like Om Shanthi Om? Wait and see!
