Mahesh Bhatt's hunt for a leading lady for his Raaz 2 is finally over. Actress Kangana Ranaut has signed on the dotted line after a long discussion with Mahesh, Mukesh and Mohit Suri.

This puts an end to all speculation that Kangana had fallen out with her mentors, the Bhatts. The actress, who made it big with films like Gangster and Woh Lamhe from the Bhatt camp, will again be part of their films, this time opposite Emraan Hashmi. Mahesh Bhatt said that the actress was quite ecstatic about the script and since she suits the role, he is more than happy to work with her again. Bhatt also said that they would have to keep the project on hold till all money matters and other issues are worked out from both sides. He added that they (the Bhatts) had never shut their doors on anyone, but in the case of Kangana, they had not been able to fulfill certain demands and hence had to postpone their project. But he added that when he spoke with the actress recently, there was the same camaraderie and warmth of the old. Mukesh Bhatt also confirmed that the actress is willing to go out of her way and work out her dates. So it seems that the hit jodi of Kangana and Emraan is back.
