Karan Khanna continues his record of having one release to his name every year ever since he made his debut with BACHKE REHNA RE BABA in 2005.Though he played a male lead in the film opposite Mallika Sherawat, there wasn't much impetus to his career as he followed it up with YUN HOTA TOH KYA HOTA where he was one of the supporting actors in an episode of the film. The film released in 2006, exactly a year after BACHKE REHNA RE BABA.
In 2007, Karan was seen again in HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD. where he shared screen presence with five other male leads. He finally had a success to his name with this Reema Kagti directed film though in the remainder of the year, he was again found absconding.
Now as the New Year has begun, he is looking forward to the arrival of U ME AUR HUM. Yet again, the young actor finds himself in a supporting role since the film is primarily centered on Ajay Devgan and Kajol. Others in the star cast are Isha Sharwani, Rituparna Sengupta and Divya Dutta.
While U ME AUR HUM arrives on 11th April, one waits to see if Karan would have any other release before 2009!
