Krayon Pictures today announced the production of its first 3D animation full length feature film. The film, being directed by Nikhil Advani, (http://imdb.com/name/nm0012541/) began production over 7 months ago and has already completed dubbing of its film.The film is about animals making a journey from Mumbai to Delhi, and brings together an ensemble cast comprising of Govinda, Akshaye Khanna, Ayesha Takia, Boman Irani, Urmila Matondkar and Suneil Shetty among others to lend their voices to the more than loveable characters. Akshaye is a parrot, Govinda a monkey, Boman a bear, Urmila a leopard, Suniel also a leopard and Ayesha a cub. The film has music composed by Shankar Eshaan Loy.
The film will complete production by the end of the year or early 2009 and looks forward to a summer 2009 release.
Speaking with Nishith Takia, co-founder of Krayon Pictures, "Empowered with some of the brightest technical and creative team of people the production of the film is moving forward at an accelerated pace. What I have seen till now is visually very satisfying and closer to the quality of films that one would see in Hollywood animation films.
