After quite a long break, Simran made a comeback to showbiz where she played the part of a judge on one of the million dance shows in a TV channel. But for reasons still unclear, the actress was soon replaced. Then there were all kinds of rumours and she even did a stint in Tollywood. But the Tamil audience is reportedly her target audience. So, when the Kuselan offer came by, we thought she’d pounce on it, but looks like she did not find it to her taste. Instead, the once super-hot Simran has decided to give TV a second chance. This time, Simran is following the footsteps of her predecessors like Devayani and Khusbu. She will be shedding her glamour to take on serious acting-oriented roles. However, she will not be featuring in mega-serials. Each serial will be completed in a month. She has agreed to play the lead in 12 such serials. Her pay? Just as much as she was making per movie!! The first of these serials will be in Sripriya’s direction. The story is by Sujatha. Let's hope Simran has better luck this time!
