Recognizing the potential and acute need for high end animated Indian films in Indian animation industry, DQ Entertainment (DQE) and Percept Picture Company (PPC) proudly announced their 3 animation co-production memorandum of understanding signed recently. The films are slated for 2009 - 2010 release.Genre: - Mythology, Super Hero, Bollywoodish and Animal Kingdom
After taking the entire industry by storm with their first edition of the Super Hero - HANUMAN and Return of HANUMAN; DQE now in association with PPC will make 3 high quality animation films - 2 of entertaining mythology genre and the third film will be a complete Bollywood masala flick with estimated budgets of around 25 Million USD.
Mr.Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman and CEO DQ Entertainment Limited says, "Bollywood's foray into animated Indian feature films with HANUMAN has triggered many announcements of animated features by Bollywood production houses. The business proposal and co production understanding between PPC and DQE is aimed at bringing high quality story telling and visuals and international success to India.
