Mumbai, Feb 15 (IANS) Actress Amrita Rao has made a cameo appearance in 'Shaurya', a movie directed by Samar Khan.

'Amrita Rao is indeed in my film. Just how it happened is an interesting story. I did not intend to cast her. But she's a dear friend and I wanted her in my film. So I cast her in a very special role. I guess I'm blessed to have so many friends in the industry,' said the journalist-turned-director.

This is Khan's second movie.

Khan is full of praise for Amrita's professionalism. 'We were supposed to shoot only for a day. But that stretched to two days. Amrita gave us time, without complaining,' Samar said.

But she was not happy with her dubbing. 'She did it again and I love the way she was focused even if it was a cameo appearance. Not just Amrita, I had a dream cast in 'Shaurya'. Rahul Bose, K.K. Menon, Deepak Dobriyal and Minissha Lamba... all of them went out of their way to make sure 'Shaurya' turns out to be a special movie,' Khan said.
