Producer ‘Oscar’ Ravichandran has finally managed to pull it off. The marketing whiz has approached and obtained confirmation from Jackie Chan to launch the audio of Kamal Haasan’s Dasavatharam. Dasavatharam sees Kamal donning 10 roles for the first time in his career. He is paired with Asin who plays a dual role. Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat also plays an important role in the film. Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Dasavatharam has Bollywood’s Himesh Reshammiyya composing the music. To obtain Chan’s confirmation, Ravichandran, along with his brother Ramesh Babu, had personally gone to meet Jackie at his residence in Hong Kong and shown clips from the film to the star. Overwhelmed by Kamal’s amazing performance, Chan is believed to have agreed immediately to the proposal. In addition, he also organized a party in Hong Kong to announce his confirmation. The Dasavatharam audio launch is all set to become a gala affair, one of the biggest the Indian film industry has ever seen. Already, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and ‘Mega Star’ Chiranjeevi have agreed to grace the function. The audio launch will be held in Chennai’s Nehru Stadium in the second week of March.
