Shahid Kapur is on a roll. Following the success of his film, Jab We Met,he has proved that he can carry a solo hero film on his shoulders. That makes him one of the few actors in Bollywood who can do that. Most of the hits last year were multi-starrers. But with Vivaah and Jab We Met,

both solo-hero films, Shahid seems to have set a commendable record.

The industry too is finally recognizing this and is reposing faith in him. The actor's forthcoming projects

include Aziz Mirza's Kismet Konnection, Ken Ghosh's musical drama, two films with Yash Raj Films and a film to be directed by his father Pankaj Kapur. But what's even more exciting than all of these projects put togther is the fact that Shahid has been signed by Vishal Bharadwaj for his next project. This surely is the seal of approval on his acting abilities and talent. Even though no official statement has been issued by either side, sources say that the two,Vishal and Shahid, are indeed teaming up. Not too long ago, Shahid's girlfriend and her current lover too made their reputations as serious actor with Bharadwaj's Omkara. Now, it seems to be Shahid's turn.
