Mumbai: Young beauties sashayed down the ramp for a cover girl contest.

The sizzling beauties had no modeling experience, but one of them will be on the cover of a youth magazine.

And zeroing in on the picture perfect beauty were actors Kunal Kapoor and Amrita Arora.

"Many of these girls are just starting their careers so it’s a great opportunity for these girls. It is like piking them up and throwing them into a big ocean and saying go make us proud. I would have loved to have something like this when I was 17,” says Amrita.

"These girls are not stars or celebrities so its nice for them to see themselves on the cover of a magazine and have it on news stands so yes, I think its a great platform,” says Kunal.

We quizzed the contestants if modeling was their ticket to Bollywood.

“I love films and love acting I am a big nautanki among my friends,” says a contestants.

"May be Bollywood but my Hindi is a little weak,” adds another contestant.
