TV actor Pallavi Joshi's car attacked by mob

New Delhi: Television actor Pallavi Joshi's car was attacked by around 20 men on Tuesday night outside a studio in Mumbai.

The men were reportedly inside the studio where Joshi was recording her show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and were thrown out after they misbehaved.

However, they soon returned with their friends and attacked Joshi's car. The accused reportedly also broke furniture in the studio's reception area.

Police have registered a case of rioting and arrested three men.

Pallavi has worked in the television industry for over three decades. Her main preoccupation these days is the production company she has set up with her husband.

Pallavi's portrayal of a troubled girl who becomes pregnant after being raped while in coma in Alpviram is one of the most pathbreaking television performances till date.

The actor has also starred in several Bollywood as well as regional films.
