Actress Huma Khan arrested for role in kidnap, rape

Mumbai: Actress Huma Khan, who played the role of a milkmaid in hit Hindi movie Maine Pyar Kiya, has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly abetting a person accused of kidnapping and raping a minor.

Huma appeared in a string of C-grade films in the late 80s and 90s. She was seen in many horror films made by the Ramsay brothers—roles that often had her playing ghosts in white sarees.

Huma, who has disappeared from films for sometime now, has been sent to five-day judicial custody after being charged with the Mira Road police.
