London, March 1 (IANS) 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere will be honoured at the Humane Society of the United States Genesis Awards for trying to prevent fishermen from killing whales off the coast of Japan last year.
Panettiere will collect The Wyler Award for her anti-whaling efforts March 29. She was photographed crying for the dead whales that she had tried to rescue while defending herself from angry fishermen's harpoons, reports contatcmusic.com.
