Shahid Kapoor enthralled every one with his wonderful performance in JAB WE MET last year. While the film went on to be a superhit and is making great progress on DVD and satellite medium, Shahid has moved on though carefully watching his steps when it comes to signing movies.He has atleast two films i.e. Ken Ghosh's STAR and Ahmed Khan's PAATHSHAALA. Meanwhile, his first release of 2008 would be KISMAT KONNECTION, which is expected to arrive this summer. Tentatively placed for the month of June, KISMAT KONNECTION is a love story between Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. The film also stars Juhi Chawla.
Directed by Aziz Mirza who makes a comeback to movie making after a hiatus of 5 years (his Shahrukh Khan starrer CHALTE CHALTE had released way back in 2003), KISMAT KONNECTION is a film produced by TIPS MUSIC FILMS.
Meanwhile Shahid's long-stuck-in-the-cans MILENGE MILENGE continues to have an undecided fate at the box office. Though a lot was said about the film's eventual arrival on Valentines this February, it wasn't the case to be as the film failed to make a progress into the theaters.
